Robert Rathbone and the communications team are planning to expand the websites popular 'On This Day' feature for the whole calendar year of 1915 (and a little bit of 1916 where relevant to the campaign). Unfortunately we have many blanks from January to April.  This is an appeal for help to fill these dates please: 

 

• JANUARY 17, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 30 & 31
• FEBRUARY 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 24 & 28
• MARCH 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 & 31
• APRIL 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22 & 23

All we need is 200-500 words (plus a relevant PHOTO if possible) about a soldier who served who was perhaps born on that date. Troop movements on that day. Political events, Training, Memorials unveiled on that day.... etc...
