Sutton Veny Service, Wiltshire

The Sutton Veny service, Wiltshire, takes place annually and is always well attended, by Gallipoli Association members and others.  Representatives from the Australian and New Zealand military were in attendance.  Colonel Peter Steel, Army Adviser for the Australian High Commission is pictured at the memorial.  Mr Colin Kerr, Director External Relations, represented the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

The cemetery contains 168 First World War burials, 167 of them in a plot at the north west corner of the church. Of these, 143 are Australian which includes 2 nurses.
