Thank you to member Antony Siese for forwarding a photograph of the 2018 Remembrance Day Parade in Bermuda, where Tony will be lecturing to a School on Gallipoli soon. 

Many probably do not know about the bravery of one particular Scottish seaman at Gallipoli who was honoured in a ceremony in Bermuda. This is George Samson from Carnoustie was awarded the Victoria Cross for his actions during the V Beach landings from the SS River Clyde. Samson was buried in Bermuda in 1923 after dying while serving on a merchant ship.
